Sales Staff Biographies

Chris Mallon

Chris started with Parker Hannifin Corp. in 1971. He then graduated from Georgia State University in 1975 with a degree in Business Administration. After joining V.E. Brackett Co., Inc. in 1981, he then purchased the company in 1988. Chris and Lisa reside in Peachtree City with their three children and two dogs.

Roger Steele

Born 1957 in Air Force base hospital in Smyrna TN, Roger was raised primarily in Manchester, TN. Roger graduated from Manchester Central High in 1975 then went on to Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU or MT Yahoo if you prefer) graduating in December 1980 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He married Kaye Monroe of Fort Valley, Ga in 1986. They have a son Logan and a daughter Anna. The first 29 1/2 years were slow and since ’86 it’s been a blur.

Vernon Brackett, Jr.

Vernon, Jr. received his Bachelors Degree in Business Management from North Georgia College in 1988. He worked six years part-time and two years full-time with V. E. Brackett Co., Inc. doing various jobs such as shipping & receiving, welding sprockets and building gearboxes. Vernon went on to join the outside sales force in 1990. Vernon and his wife Kathy live in Fayetteville with their two sons, Nicholas and Allen.

Tom Dorough

Obtained AA degree in Business from ICC Community College in Tupelo, MS. Tech degree in industrial Electric and power Generation from Opp Trade School. Completed Business Mgt. course at Troy State University. Past times: Hunting, Fishing and Four wheeling. Family: daughters Michelle, Kimmy and Christina. One grandson Andrew Parker Brazeal. Dogs Booboo, Angel, Smokey and Bear (named after the great one Bear Bryant). Resides in Tupelo, MS with wife Becky.

John Ryals

John graduated from the University of Mobile with a degree in Finance in 1988. He started his career as a Manager Trainee for Motion Industries. His time at Motion took him from Alabama to Charlotte NC and Denver CO. He then moved back to Alabama as a Business Development Manager role for a material handling company. In 2014 John joined V.E. Brackett Co covering lower Mississippi, Central and Southern Alabama and the Panhandle of Florida.

Peter Clark

A life long resident of Florida, Peter graduated from college with degrees in economics, marketing, and a minor in citrus marketing. He has spent the last 30 years selling to the industrial power transmission, fluid power industry in Florida.

Ernie (Our Company Dog)

Ernie joined the Company as a rescue dog who then adopted a feral kitten who takes walks with him everyday. Ernie responsibilities include keeping everyone entertained in the office and warehouse.
